Got a lot done today – actually, David got a lot more done than I did, but I did get some tidying done, David did some vacuuming (we lead such glamorous lives). Valentine’s cards were exchanged this morning – David got a new owner’s manual for his body. I tried to find an O’Reilly book on tantric seqs, but they seem not to have that title yet. There are no helpful pictures, but he says the “tips and tricks” sections are similar to other manuals he has. Heh. And yes, there was much incessant goofing around with the blog today,…

The other night, the Blogrolling.com site was down for a second, and I lost the entire sidewall of the blog for a few minutes – it was just hacked away, then mysteriously reappeared later when they came backup. Hmm. Various free/cheap Web graphics programs. I think I might qualify for some of these under the “Photoshop makes me break out in hives” rubric. Last night? Why, yes, there was hairpulling and swearing involved with my last tussle with Photoshop. 😉

Well, we’ll try this again – I wanted to have the index page display the flags and countries of visitors, but apparently all the plug-in can do is display flag and town/city, meaning a whole bunch of American flags, some Canadian, a fewBritish, and other countries’ flags in descending order. Yes, yes, I know that a good chunk of the “visitors” are either robots or spammers, but whats the hey, ya? I’d still really rather have just the one flag per country represented. Oh, well. I’m working on the next couple of entries for the travel journal (JEEZ, this is…

I know the blog is messed up – something about the last post. Dammit, dammit, dammit. And by the way? -8 degrees below zero plus wind makes it -27 degrees below zero wind chill. That’s negative twenty-seven degees below zero. I’ve got layers on layers. I’m off to discover the Midwest Pole, wish me luck!
