At some point, I must have enabled the photo backup feature and WHOA. It had EVERYTHING on my iPhone, everything in Picasa. If you take a lot of pictures of a Christmas tree from the same angle, you get an animated, twinkly Tannenbaum (with people dancing around it if they’re decorating). It’s actually kind of a pretty effect – Christmas Eve 2013, singing Silent Night with guitar accompaniment, you get…

More people showed up to Thursday's taping in DC than to Fridays "Operation American Spring," but NPR listeners are generally better educated and well-informed. http://www.npr.org/programs/wait-wait-dont-tell-me/ View this post on Google+

I need your help and encouragement – I signed up for the Chicagoland Tour de Cure to raise funds to fight diabetes, and raise awareness too. I'm riding 35 miles, and I'm behind in my training! I rode 17 miles last Saturday, and it really hurt. Will you challenge me to get on the bike? Will you help me get my butt in gear? I need to ride at least 25 miles comfortably this weekend to be able to finish the ride easily in June. My husband +David Gibbs is the captain of Team Red Chicago, help me make him…

Reshared post from +David Gibbs I absolutely love the fact that I can take something I enjoy immensely and turn it into something that helps others and helps myself. I obviously enjoy #cycling, and the exercise helps me keep my #diabetes under control, and my involvement with +Tour de Cure helps others by raising money for education, research, and advocacy. Thanks to a lot of friends & family, including Scott, David, Katie, my brother Dan, and his girlfriend Tami, I'm almost to 80% of my goal of $5000 for the Tour de Cure. You can help me get to 100%…

Roadside America: the Effingham Cross at the junction of I70 and I57 in Effingham, IL We go past this on our occasional trips Downstate to see family. Can't help but wonder how many food banks, shelters, tool co-ops, and scholarships could be funded for the cost of construction and upkeep. My friend +Laura Foster may see it on her way through and have a few cherce werds to say about it! View this post on Google+
