I wonder if my young cousin, who struggled with CF his entire life and died after undergoing a complete heart-lung transplant, might have benefited from this drug or not. I'm happy that the research he and his extended family supported with a local run/walk is finally paying off, and I'm sure he'd be happy for any of his friends that might have benefited from this drug even if he couldn't.
