    Yesterday was, of course, another anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. As I walked into the building, a big United jet flew overhead, and I looked up to watch it climb into the soft morning sky and thought it was a good sight to see.     It’s become a confederation of sovereign dunces, fantasizing about forming their own free state and cheering for their media champions, and regurgitating their hysterical screeds, from couches and basements across America.     A video shown to Utah elementary students urges them to pledge allegiance to the united funk of funkadelica. Typical wingnuttery ensues.
