Closeup of a set of Eucharist vessels from St Nicholas that have been there since it the church was founded – they must have been donated, as they’re dated from several years before the year ground was broken. St Nick’s is a small Episcopal parish in Elk Grove Village, IL. It was designed by a well known Chicago architect called Edward (Ned) Dart, who also designed the former Holy Innocents Episcopal Church. Both small missions merged on New Year’s Day, 2007.
