One comment on “NPR : Son of Prominent War Critic Dies in Iraq”
I can only extend my sympathy to Professor Andrew Bacevich and his family for their loss of First Lt. Andrew Bacevich Jr. How tragic history continues to repeat itself. As a professor, a retired Army Colonel, a Vietnam veteran, an opponent of the war, and the father of a Lieutenant too, I live in fear for my son and my country. The dilemma of citizenship–we cannot abandon the military to the conservatives, and yet no one seems willing to call George W’s bloody hand for the terrible mistakes he’s making. I grieve with you.
