The Cornjob Memorial Library: Where Were You In 1992?

Go to www.popCulturemadness.com and select the year you became 18. Paste the list of the top 75 songs. Bold the ones you liked; strike the ones you disliked; and italicize the ones you know but don't exactly like nor dislike. The ones you don't know will stay common text.

Sadly for me, 1975 was not a year of going boldly. In fact, it was one big strikeout, musically and socially.

  1. Actually, I turned 18 in 1991, but since my birthday was in October, and since I was routinely the youngest guy in my grades, I just lumped myself with 1992. They had much better songs in 1992, believe it or not, what with the glut of Amy Grant, Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, and Mariah Carey temporarily abating. And with Nirvana becoming popular. And Right Said Fred.

  2. This still does not explain how it is that you claim “Bohemian Rhapsody” as one of “your” year’s songs, sir. It originally came out in “my” year. 😕
