It’s been getting a lot of press, a lot of heat, and generating a lot of posts and comments in the Episcopal blogosphere. Also, the show has its own blog – well, it’s a discussion site put together by the Episcopal Diocese of Washington: the Blog of Daniel. The writer of the show has already posted comments over there, as have a few other folks I recognize (such as Father Jake). As well as a few folks that are all singing out of the same choirbook, as you might expect.
But that’s o.k.
Anyway, it’ll give us something to talk about at Holy Moly on Sunday!
you should be here to see the campaign the “charch” is doing to get the network not to show the program…… I have to laugh! People here are so “head up the ass” in the dark!!!
I thought it was highly entertaining that a real Episcopal priest in Utah is named Dan Webster. He used to be something at KUTV and then became a clergyman. He’s been interviewed by several papers already, and the Deseret News apparently had a favorable review of the show, so pretty embarassing for the charch if they do succeed.
Good heavens, I’ve been reading the “blog of daniel” site, and the funnymentalists are practically foaming at mouth.
