It rained much of yesterday, and then it snowed last night. Now everything is grey and sloppy — and we’re getting ready to go out, so I have to think about “what not to wear” under these conditions.
I think heels and a silk blouse are out of the question, don’t you?
Yep, fall back on my fashion staple — Timberland hiking boots, jeans, several layers on top including bad-weather shell. My only concession to “decorative” dressing is a blue pashmina shawl.
I like it, it’s soft and warm. I think I need some more of them, maybe I’ll find some in an end-of-season sale.
