Geodog’s MT Weblog: That nasty IE 6 scrolling bug that shows up in MT
So the bug is still bugging, but one big lesson learned is “don’t past div code and brackets into blog posts!!!”
Note to self – figure out how to past code in a little quote box.
Okay, for about 3 days, I thought I had the IE6 “bug” (disappearing text – the line below the first day is/isn’t there)licked.
And then I futzed around a bit more and there it was, bugging the shit out of me again.
I know I said before that it was “okay.”
But then I fixed it for a while, and now it’s back, and it’s friggin’ not okay. ::grump mode::
So I went here
And there are a couple of things worth trying.
Smoke me a kipper, I’ll be back for breakfast.
…( )…
UPDATE: Burbclavia
Well…. the bug is gone again, although the line disappears if another webpage is laid on top and then closed or minimized. A refresh fixes that. But at least when the page is first pulled up, the raggedy-fraggin line is there.
Added and rearranged some links and things. I’m thinking of calling this color scheme “Mint Chocolate Kludge.”
Now, is this fixed or not….
Noooo, that messed with the menu or the side in a big way, we’ll go back to draft status… yes, now the menu is on the side again, and we re-publish and??
Woops, there was a leftover div tag from when I was cutting and pasting text from the “fixes.”
Stupid newbie trix.
